Walking the floors of a trade show can be a quick reference for emerging trends, up-and-comers, repositioning of brands in the market, new product launches and innovation, as well as stagnating or declining markets. Trade show participation has long been part of informing our perspective on the industries we serve—food, beverage, pet, and supplement. Our focus affords us the opportunity to dive deeply into these categories, and part of our investment in ongoing education includes attending key trade shows throughout the year, both in support of our clients and as an ongoing investment in our team’s education. The Arnold Sports Festival

Columbus, OH | March 2-4, 2018

Named for former Mr. Universe himself, this three-day event is the largest fitness expo in the world, pulling in elite athletes in sports ranging from Bodybuilding, IFBB Pro Figure, Powerlifting, Strongman, Crossfit, and more. The Expo will feature hundreds of exhibitors from the health, wellness, and fitness industries, and draw in over 200,000 spectators from all over the globe.

Natural Products Expo West

Anaheim, CA | March 8-11, 2018

Attended by more than 80,000 in 2017, Natural Products Expo West is the world’s largest natural, organic, and healthy products trade show. Originally geared toward natural products in food, beverage, and personal care, it has more recently evolved to include pet-focused exhibitors, as well. During the Expo, MarketPlace CMO and Partner Tracy Landau will be featured as a speaker and brand specialist in the health and wellness sector during a special event hosted by Duff & Phelps on March 8th. She will be joining social media influencer and ABC’s The Bachelorette contestant, Ali Fedotowsky, along with other experts in related specialties.

Global Pet Expo

Orlando, FL | March 21-23, 2018

A global trade show for pet industry insiders, Global Pet Expo connects brands, suppliers, manufacturers, buyers, retailers, importers, and distributors. With 343,700 square feet of exhibit space and products for companion pets of all kinds, this trade show delivers a global perspective on the pet and animal segment.

Paleo f(x)™

Austin, TX | April 27-29, 2018

Paleo f(x) bills itself as a holistic lifestyle immersion event, bringing health, wellness, fitness, and lifestyle disciplines together. Drawing an audience and exhibitors from around the globe, this collaborative symposium focuses on the implementation of ancestral health practices—many of which inform today’s food and supplement trends—bridging the tenets of the paleo lifestyle with real world application.
