Hey Boo Jams, a startup bringing Srikaya (Indonesian coconut jam) to the United States, had a great brand and product, but needed visual assets and a social strategy to help get traction in the market. After tasting their delicious jams, we were happy to say "hey, brand!" to Hey Boo.
As a startup, Hey Boo needed brand assets to help them reach out directly to consumers and influencers on social media. We developed an approach to the imagery and social management focused on current best practices in addition to communicating the brand’s hip, youthful personality.
With a social strategy in place for fueling Hey Boo’s brand growth, we developed an approach to their photography that went beyond traditional product photography to create shareable, consumer-friendly images. Our imagery highlighted the product from the perspective of the consumer, encouraging users to imagine fun new ways to eat Hey Boo Jams themselves—and subtly encouraging them to create their own such images.
To further enhance social engagement, we created a series of fun, shareable graphics for continued use on all social channels. These additional assets helped Hey Boo maintain an active presence online, thus building a larger audience.
With visual assets from MarketPlace, Hey Boo has continued to grow, building a dedicated social media following and finding their way into numerous retailers.
